Oregon Humane Society’s Corgi Beach Takeover 2025

Another fantastic event in the books for the Oregon Humane Society! Each summer, OHS hosts a Corgi Beach Takeover at Seaside, OR, with a gathering of nearly 1000 of corgis and over 1500 people.

The highlight of this event? The corgi races, of course. We watched over 190 corgis race to the finish line, in waves of 8 each.

While the corgi races may be the mane attraction: the custom contest drew a large crowd too. This year’s themes included: Marvel Avengers heroes + villains, plus a few open and group categories.
