Meet Pokey! Or, maybe you already know her? I hear she’s got quite the following. For those of you who don’t know Pokey, she’s a sweet (and sassy) Boston Terrier and the absolute best little model. Pokey and her mom made the trip up from San Francisco, CA to soak up some Pacific Northwest spring weather this year and check out the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival here in Woodburn, Oregon.

The weather for Pokey’s session was overcast, which makes for the perfect blank canvas! I love to be able to customize the feel of a session in post processing. Which version do you prefer? Cool spring vibes with a soft rainbow? Or a more dramatic, moody sunset?

Another common edit for our Tulip Sessions is for color. The below left photo is a more true-to-life version of what the pinkish-purple tulips looked like, but Pokey’s color is purple and we want to make sure we’re color matching her Instagram feed! To see more Pokey cuteness in your life, find her on Instagram @petitepokey

Regardless of your desired color scheme, we’ll have countless of options to choose from and we don’t have to limit it to just one! Pokey brought outfit changes, so we did a couple different bandanas for her sponsors, and picked a new tulip color for each one.
