We are honored to return to Traverse City, MI this year, bringing a dressage-first approach to NAYC as private client photographers: offering both photo & video services exclusively for dressage riders.
The experience we offer as a horse show photographer + videographer team is focused on personalized and impactful storytelling that captures your show day in a new light.
Your horse show days do not start and end as you walk through the in-gate, so why should the memories stop there? The style of event photography that we provide is designed to create a more personalized & full-service experience for competitors.
Every image is created intentionally with regard to the correct biomechanics of the sport and happy equine athletes. Every flick of the ear, movement of light, and changing backdrop is carefully considered with utmost detail while working behind the lens.

How Does Our Private Client Photography Work?
Riders must sign up ahead of time to receive coverage throughout the week. Once you've reached out, you'll receive a questionnaire to help tailor your experience.
Before the Show

Each night, we'll upload a few favorite images into your private gallery so you have something to post right away! All remaining images are uploaded into the gallery during the week after the show, after they've received full touchups and editing.
Images are all available for download to any device, straight from your gallery, and our online print store remains available should you decide to take away any artwork from this show!
After the Show

During the show, we are onsite all day every day - warmup to awards - capturing your tests, candids, and more. Your personal paparazzi! Our job is to turn this week's best moments into artwork that you'll cherish for years to come.
Two photographers and one ring means guaranteed + complete coverage of your test, in-gate moments, awards, and all the other candid shots you love. We won't be running back and forth to the jumper rings: we're here just for you!

Ella is the most impressive photographer that I've ever worked with.
She serves as Official Show Photographer for my string of National and International Dressage competitions. Her images are truly stunning. She has somehow garnered the ability to capture the most special moments between humans and their animals that reflects love, pride, happiness, and the unique bond shared by animals and their caregivers. That's me! I am the primary photographer & editor here at ECP. I have been photographing shows for nearly a decade, most of that time spent specializing in dressage. As a lifelong equestrian myself, I am dedicated to creating timeless and emotional images that correctly represent the equine, the sport, and the many powerful emotions they bring us.

What's the Investment?
For one horse + rider pair the duration of NAYC 2025 (7/29-8/3). Includes photo coverage of all tests and awards ceremonies, plus your favorite candid & behind the scenes moments.
Includes ALL fully edited, high resolution digital images delivered after the show (with a few images sent each evening after your ride).
Private Client Photography Coverage . . . $795
When all NAYC riders in your region sign up for photography, everyone receives our complimentary upgraded team coverage in addition to discounted group rates.
Team Package. . .
Video reels highlighting all the best moments of your show week. Professionally edited to custom soundtracks featuring a mix of your candid moments, behind the scenes, details shots, and of course the best part of your rides. Available as an add on to photography coverage.
Highlight Reels. . .
Our Private Client Coverage starts at $795. This includes two photographers, all week (Tuesday-Sunday), and a private online gallery with all of your full edited, high resolution digital downloads + with a personal print release. This is an all-inclusive experience!
We do have both add-ons and discounts available. Video reels and rush delivery are available to add on for an additional fee, and we also offer a team discount for regions who sign up with us as a whole!
What is the total investment?
In order to provide a top notch experience and insure the most comprehensive coverage (plus faster delivery times!) we will be limiting sign-ups for this event. Please fill out the form below ASAP to reserve your spot. A retainer will be collected upon finalizing your spot on our schedule.
When do I have to sign up by?
Yes we will! With two photographers and one ring, we guarantee coverage of every test. Plus: candid moments, warm-up, entering + exiting the ring, and everything in between! Because we aren't splitting time between the dressage & jumper rings, we never have to sacrifice your ride times.
Will you photography all my rides?
Each night, we will edit and deliver a handful of favorite images from the day; that way you've got something to post asap! These go into your private, online gallery (which you'll gain access to before the show even starts) which allows downloads straight to your phone or any other device. Your full gallery of images will be delivered during the week after the show. This allows me to complete any of the more advanced editing (removing distractions, cleaning up boot scuffs, etc.) before you receive the final images.
When will I get my photos?
We are offering a unique experience for a couple of reasons:
1. Two photographers. This means no overlaps or ring conflicts. Our second photographer will be either photographing a different angle of your ride, catching behind the scenes at the in-gate, or capturing your video.
2. We specialize in dressage. This sport is our sole focus in event coverage; at home we're contracted to cover multiple dressage series, including the PNW's only international CDI3* and USDF/GAIG Region 6 Championships.
3. We are offer both photo and video and separate and complete services. You don't have to sacrifice one for the other and the videos we deliver aren't just a handful of clips with some slow-motion thrown in and no audio. We edit complete storylines: usually 1-2 minutes long and matched with our professional music soundtrack, combine with real audio captured from your show days.
What makes you different?
Yes! If you are local to Region 6 and work with us at DevonWood Equestrian Centre or Silver Tail Farm, this will be a different experience than what you are used to. Since we aren't managing 2-4 rings, we are able to focus entirely on you without the ring overlaps that eat into our fun candid and behind the scenes moments.
